The Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation will be postponing for the time being the Teacher Mini-Grant Program, which makes available direct grants to classroom teachers in the Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD). In its first year, the Foundation successfully awarded 13 mini-grants totaling close to $5,000.
The Teacher Mini-Grants intend to enrich and enhance learning environments at LUSD schools by supporting innovative curriculum and instructional practices. The Foundation will award LUSD teachers direct mini-grants to assist with classroom, school-wide projects, field trips and instructional materials averaging $500.
The Teacher Mini-Grant Program is postponed. We hope to announce the new timeline in early August once more information is available about the 2020-21 school year.
